Maharani Maash ki daal
Ingredients:
Mash ki dal 1 cup
Chilly powder 1 tsp
0il 1/4 cup
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Water 1 pints
All spice 1 tsp
Zeera 1 tsp
Ginger / garlic 1 tsp Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Salt 1 tsp
Fresh cream 4 oz
Coriander leaves
Green chillies chopped
Method:
Wash dal and put to cook together with water, ginger / garlic, Salt and spices. Bring to boil and lower the heat. Simmer until tender 30-45 min or 15 min in pressure cooker. Then add in lemon juice and stir in the fresh cream. Heat oil and butter and fry onions light golden. Add in zeera seeds with garlic and when brown, pour over dal. Sprinkle with finely chopped coriander leaves and green chilies.
- 1/2 lb. boneless chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2-tablespoon corn flour
- 1-teaspoon sugar
- 1/2-teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Chinese salt
- 1/2-cup oil
- 1-teaspoon ginger and garlic paste

- 1/2-cup chicken broth
- For the sauce
- 1-cup chicken soup
- 1-cup ketchup
- 1-teaspoon chili powder
- 2-teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2-tablespoon corn flour
- 1-teaspoon vinegar
- Red food color
- Mix the entire ingredient for the sauce in a big bowl.
- Mix sugar, salt, corn flour and chicken and fry in ½ cup oil until the chicken turns light golden.
- Place garlic and ginger in a pan with ½ cup oil and set it on medium heat for a few minutes until you can smell garlic, do not let it burn.
- Add the chicken prepared earlier along with chopped green pepper and 1/2-cup chicken soup in the mixture.
- When it starts to boil, add the sauce that was prepared earlier in the pan&serve it.
